Svensk Hyllningsfest is a celebration of all of our Swedish heritage which includes many activities, games, crafts and more importantly food!

Visitors can indulge in great food such as the Swedish Folk Dancers’ famous “Viking on a Stick”. The Hungry Vikings Food Court offers a wide variety of great food for you to enjoy, many put on by local community and school groups. Finally, take an opportunity to eat at our famous Smörgåsbord (a Scandinavian Feast).

Arts & Crafts vendors will once again be outside, in traditional festival fashion! Come and enjoy a great variety of items brought to you by over 30 artisans and craftspeople. This year we are working in conjunction with the Red Barn Studio to invite folks from all over the Midwest, as well as the local talent, to join us under the tent and show off their wares. Look for us in the lot just north of the Red Barn, where the Brunswick Hotel previously stood.

Make sure you wander through one (ar all!) of our stages where plenty of live entertainment will keep you… well, entertained! Toes are sure to tap with live music, and laughs are sure to be had at puppet shows, joke contests and more.
