Hyllningsfest buttons are $5 in advance or $10 at the event. The buttons are support buttons that help cover the cost of the festival, most of which is free to our visitors. The Associated Churches of Lindsborg Worship Service at Bethany Lutheran Church. Everyone is welcome and are encouraged to wear their Swedish folk costumes! Come hear an original piece of organ music comissioned especially for the 2019 Svensk Hyllningsfest.

Following the service join the Hyllningsfest Committee in the Bethany Lutheran Fellowship Hall for our King & Queen reception.

Prizes awarded for the oldest joke-teller ($25), the youngest joke-teller ($25) and grand prize of $50 will go to the teller with the best joke. Hosting will be done by Lindsborg's own jokesters, Duane Fredrickson and Mike Mesmer.

No registration needed, just show up and deliver your best joke in person at the microphone.

Coronado Heights Run

  • 15K
  • 5K
  • 2 mile walk
  • 1 mile Youth Fun Run

The 15K is composed of a flat, scenic country-road course with Coronado Heights hill (1 mile running distance up a circular, rugged road) at the heart of the race, this is a demanding course; please train accordingly. Aid stations (water) and split times will be provided throughout the course. The starting line will be at the intersection of Main and Lincoln streets (race will head north on main); the finish line will in close proximity to the starting line.

Did you hear the one about Sven & Ole hearing of an organization that would pay $5000 for every live wolf? They hunted for days, up and down the mountain. One night, they fell asleep around their campfire. In the middle of the night, Ole woke up and saw they were surrounded by 50 hungry, ferocious wolves. He said to Sven, "Wake up, we're rich!"
